Download PNG

The code is created inside your browser using an open-source MIT library hosted on our own server, so nothing you type is sent anywhere and the QR never expires.

How to use

  1. Choose the type: link/text, UPI payment or WhatsApp chat.
  2. Fill in the details.
  3. Tap Make QR.
  4. Download the PNG and print or share it.

Guide

What you can put in a QR code

A QR code simply stores text. When the text is a web address, phone cameras offer to open it; when it starts with upi://pay, payment apps such as Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm open a payment screen; when it is a wa.me link, WhatsApp opens a chat with that number. This generator builds those formats for you, so shopkeepers can put a UPI QR on the counter and sellers can add a WhatsApp QR to a printed poster or a FastBuySale listing photo.

Static codes never expire

Many websites create ‘dynamic’ QR codes that redirect through their servers and stop working when a subscription ends. Our codes are static: the information is inside the pattern itself, so the code keeps working forever and nobody can track scans. The trade-off is that you cannot edit a printed code – if your link changes, make and print a new one.

Printing tips

Print at least 2 × 2 cm, keep the white border (quiet zone) around the code, and use dark ink on a light background. Test the printed code with two different phones before you laminate it. Very long text makes a denser code that is harder to scan; use a short link where possible. For UPI, always double-check the UPI ID and name – a wrong ID sends money to the wrong person.

Ready-made ideas

Shop counter: a UPI QR with your shop name so customers pay the exact amount. Listing poster: a WhatsApp QR with a pre-filled message such as ‘Is the bike still available?’. Wedding or event card: a link QR to the venue location on maps. Restaurant table: a link QR to your menu. Wi-Fi sharing: type the network details as text so guests can read them. For each, make the QR, test it with two phones, and print it at least 2 cm wide.
